Mexico's president has signed an executive order banning the sale and distribution of e-cigarettes in the country. The World Health Organization (WHO) presented Mexico's President Leopoldo Lopez with the world No Tobacco Day Award 2022 on May 31 for his efforts to protect the health of the Mexican people and actively control tobacco use. After accepting the award, Mexican President Leopoldo Lopez signed an executive order banning the sale and circulation of e-cigarettes in Mexico.
